Project objectives

- Raising awareness of inclusion and disability issues among the population of the Ivankiv community
- Removing architectural accessibility barriers in social institutions in the Ivankiv community
Проєкт базується на принципі рівних можливостей, забезпечуючи доступ до послуг для всіх мешканців Іванківської громади — незалежно від їхнього гендеру, віку, соціального статусу чи фізичних можливостей.
Особлива увага приділяється потребам жінок, чоловіків та дітей, людей з інвалідністю, а також представників різних соціальних груп. Використовує адаптовані методи реабілітації, що допомагають зменшити бар’єри у доступі до послуг, у тому числі з урахуванням культурних та соціальних особливостей громади.
Main activities of the project
The project includes a set of measures aimed at developing the capacity of multidisciplinary teams, increasing community inclusiveness, and creating an accessible environment:

Practical training in physical rehabilitation Training for medical staff at the Ivankiv Hospital – members of a multidisciplinary team.

Training seminar on legal regulation of assistive technologies Discussion of legislative aspects of providing the population, in particular people with disabilities, with assistive technologies at the expense of the state budget.

Online training on practical rehabilitation issues A series of webinars, the topics of which will be determined based on requests from specialists.

Offline training on inclusion and disability issues With the participation of trainers from among people with disabilities, which will allow combining theory with real experience.

Individual consultations with NAPD experts Personal consultations (online/offline) for medical staff and community social workers.

Рекомендації для адаптації транспортного засобу Meeting the transportation needs of people with disabilities in the community is a practical step toward mobility and accessibility.

Audit of accessibility of administrative buildings Conducting surveys of socially significant buildings and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for removing architectural barriers.

Information materials for the community Розробка та поширення інформаційних матеріалів про доступ до реабілітаційних і соціальних послуг, допоміжних засобів реабілітації, працевлаштування, оформлення інвалідності та можливості, що надає Іванківська громада.

Monitoring visits Visits to the community to provide support, analyze progress, and offer additional recommendations.
