Сьогодні, 24 листопада, у пілотних регіонах проєкту «Багатосекторальна інклюзивна гуманітарна допомога для ВПО, осіб, які повертаються, ветеранів та приймаючих громад в Україні», який реалізує Національна асамблея людей з інвалідністю України, стартує адвокаційна кампанія «Інклюзивні громади — об’єднані дії для захисту прав людей з інвалідністю та за їхньої участі».

Цією кампанією ми хочемо вкотре привернути увагу до питань захисту прав людей з інвалідністю, людей похилого віку, покращити умови життя цих людей, забезпечити доступність у малих містах і селах, а ще — подбати про включення та залучення цих громадян до процесів прийняття рішень, які їх стосуються.

В межах адвокаційної кампанії громади Волинської, Полтавської та Чернівецької областей проведуть низку активностей: зустрічі з місцевою владою та активістами, навчання і тренінги з різних питань, спілкування з людьми та інше. Ми будемо висвітлювати хід адвокаційної кампанії кожної з громад у серії дописів.

Працюємо разом, розвиваємо інклюзивні громаді та робимо людей з інвалідністю видимими!

Start of the advocacy campaign “Inclusive communities – are united and disability-sensitive actions to protect the rights of people with disabilities and with their participation”

On 24th of November in the project’s boundaries “Multisectoral inclusive humanitarian assistance for IDPs, returnees, veterans and host communities in Ukraine” which is implemented by the National Assembly of Ukraine, advocacy program “Inclusive communities – are united and disability-sensitive actions to protect the rights of people with disabilities and with their participation” starts in our pilot regions.

With this program we would like to focus attention once again on issues of protection of the rights of people with disabilities, elderly people, to improve the living conditions of these people, to ensure accessibility in small towns and villages, and also to ensure the inclusion and involvement of these citizens in decision-making processes that affect them.

As part of the community advocacy campaign in Volyn, Poltava, Chernihiv oblasts: conduct a number of activities: meetings with local authorities and activists, education and training on various issues, communication with people, etc. We will cover the progress of the advocacy campaign of each of the communities in a series of posts.

We work together and develop inclusive communities to male people with disabilities visible!
