Кіровоградська обласна громадська організація матерів дітей з інвалідністю і осіб з інвалідністю «Серце матері» (організація є членом НАІУ) ось вже 13 років опікується родинами, в яких виховуються діти з інвалідністю. Мета діяльності організації – задоволення та захист соціальних, економічних, вікових та інших інтересів осіб з інвалідністю, як найбільш вразливої категорії населення. Особливе місце в діяльності Громадської організації займає надання соціальних послуг: соціальна реабілітація осіб з інтелектуальними та психічними порушеннями; фізичний супровід осіб з інвалідністю (в тому числі – з інтелектуальними, сенсорними, моторними, психічними та поведінковими порушеннями); супровід під час інклюзивного навчання; персональний асистент. На базі організації створено Центр молоді з інвалідністю «Сильні духом», де на постійній основі проводяться різноманітні заняття для дітей та молоді з інвалідністю. Діють художня, театральна, кулінарна студії, студія комп’ютерної грамотності, творча майстерня, проходять заняття з практичним психологом.

Серед впроваджених проєктів – інклюзивний табір денного перебування для дітей та молоді з інвалідністю «Хвилю тримай!». В рамках проєкту ГО «Серце матері» відкрила «I-Hab» (InclusionHab). Ось що говорить про проєкт і проблеми, які він покликаний вирішити Голова організації Людмила Шукрута:

«Поява дитини є, як правило, впливовою подією в житті родини, якщо ж дитина має обмежені можливості здоров’я, вона потребує підвищеної уваги, залучення різноманітних реабілітаційних ресурсів, особливого виховання. У дітей, віднесених до даної категорії, формується психологія залежності від іншої людини, яка перешкоджає інтеграції в соціум, позбавляє здатності захищати свої законні права. Соціально-психологічна обмеженість, яка є наслідком інвалідності. Утруднення процесу соціалізації – це найважливіша проблема дітей з особливими потребами. Труднощі соціалізації дитини поєднуються з неадекватністю сприйняття дитини пропонованими до нього соціальними вимогами та неготовністю суб’єктів взаємодії до партнерських відносин із ними…»

Усі ці проблеми поглиблюються на фоні того, що багато родин, що мають дітей та молодь з інвалідністю, внаслідок війни змушені були покинути свої домівки і, як результат, втратили колишні доходи і добробут, змушені адаптуватися до нових умов існування. Метою проєкту «I-Hab» (InclusionHab) є створення безпечного простору для освітньо-творчого розвитку, емоційно-психологічного розвантаження та інклюзивного спілкування дітей та молоді з інвалідністю, в тому числі ВПО, для подолання стресу, травматичного досвіду та зневіри, викликаних війною. Під час діяльності проєкту будуть надані послуги соціально-трудової реабілітації та психологічної підтримки 20 дітей та молоді (віком від 10 до 35 років) з інвалідністю, у тому числі ВПО, шляхом проведення різноманітних активностей на базі Центру молоді з інвалідністю «Сильні духом» протягом всього терміну реалізації проєкту.

Уже проводяться заняття з неформальної освіти, арттерапії, майстер-класи, розважальні і творчі заходи, що сприятимуть інтеграції людей у нові спільноти та підтримуватимуть їхнє психічне здоров’я, посилять спроможність дітей з інвалідністю. Так, нещодавно відбулося тренінгове заняття, спрямоване на формування та розвиток самопізнання, на саморозвиток, створення позитивного психологічного клімату, формування навичок самоаналізу та самоконтролю, позитивного ставлення до себе та інших, усвідомлення себе, формування самооцінки, розкриття особистісного потенціалу. Ще один захід, який відбувся в рамках проєкту – майстер-клас для молоді з інвалідністю із виготовлення м’якої іграшки із фетру. Цей вид мистецтва має позитивний вплив на інтелектуальний, емоційний та фізичний розвиток молоді, а іграшки з фетру є безпечними для дітей.

Про проєкт

Проєкт «Криза в Україні: Реагування та відновлення з урахуванням потреб людей з інвалідністю під керівництвом та за координації організацій осіб з інвалідністю (2-га фаза) реалізує Національна Асамблея людей з інвалідністю України за підтримки Європейського форуму інвалідності (EDF) та Християнської місії незрячих (СВМ). В рамках проєкту громадські організації, що опікуються людьми з інвалідністю, підготували та захистили ґрантові заявки на виконання короткострокових проєктів. Ці проєкти дозволять поліпшити доступність осіб з інвалідністю до соціальних послуг та гуманітарної допомоги, що є особливо важливим в умовах війни та спровокованих нею ускладнень.

The Kirovohrad Regional Public Organization of Mothers of Children with Disabilities and Persons with Disabilities “Mother’s Heart” (the organization is a member of National Assembly of people with disabilities of Ukraine, NAPD) has been taking care of families in which children with disabilities are raised for 13 years. The purpose of the organization’s activity is to satisfy and protect the social, economic, age-related and other interests of persons with disabilities, as the most vulnerable category of the population. A special place in the activities of the Public Organization is the provision of social services: social rehabilitation of persons with intellectual and mental disorders; physical support of persons with disabilities (including intellectual, sensory, motor, mental and behavioral disorders); support during inclusive education; personal assistant. On the basis of the organization, the Center for Youth with Disabilities “Strong in Spirit” was established, where various classes for children and youth with disabilities are held on an ongoing basis. There lots of activities such as art, theater, culinary studios, a computer literacy studio, a creative workshop, classes with a practical psychologist are held.

Among the implemented projects is the inclusive day camp for children and youth with disabilities “Hold the wave!”. As part of the project, the NGO “Mother’s Heart” opened “I-Hab” (InclusionHab). Here is what the head of the organization Lyudmila Shukruta says about the project and the problems it is designed to solve:

“The appearance of a child is, as a rule, an influential event in the life of a family, but if the child has limited health opportunities, he needs increased attention, involvement of various rehabilitation resources, and special upbringing. Children assigned to this category develop a psychology of dependence on another person, which prevents integration into society and deprives them of the ability to protect their legal rights. Socio-psychological limitation, which is a consequence of disability. Impeding the process of socialization is the most important problem of children with special needs. The difficulties of the child’s socialization are combined with the inadequacy of the child’s perception of the social requirements proposed to him and the unwillingness of the subjects of interaction to partner with them…”

All these problems deepen against the background of the fact that many families with children and youth with disabilities were forced to leave their homes as a result of the war and, as a result, lost their former income and well-being, forced to adapt to new living conditions. The goal of the “I-Hab” (InclusionHab) project is to create a safe space for educational and creative development, emotional and psychological relief and inclusive communication of children and youth with disabilities, including IDPs, to overcome stress, traumatic experiences and hopelessness caused by war. During the project, social and labor rehabilitation and psychological support services will be provided to 20 children and youth (aged 10 to 35 years) with disabilities, including IDPs, by conducting various activities on the basis of the Center for Youth with Disabilities “Strong in Spirit” throughout project implementation period.

Classes on non-formal education, art therapy, master classes, entertainment and creative events are already being held, which will contribute to the integration of people into new communities and support their mental health, strengthen the abilities of children with disabilities. So, recently there was a training session aimed at the formation and development of self-knowledge, self-development, creation of a positive psychological climate, formation of self-analysis and self-control skills, positive attitude towards oneself and others, self-awareness, formation of self-esteem, disclosure of personal potential. Another event that took place as part of the project was a master class for young people with disabilities on making a soft toy from felt. This form of art has a positive effect on the intellectual, emotional and physical development of young people, and felt toys are safe for children.

About the project

The project “Crisis in Ukraine: Response and recovery taking into account the needs of people with disabilities under the leadership and coordination of organizations of people with disabilities (2nd phase) is implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine with the support of the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Mission of the Blind ( CBM). As part of the project, public organizations caring for people with disabilities prepared and defended grant applications for the implementation of short-term projects. These projects will improve the accessibility of persons with disabilities to social services and humanitarian aid, which is especially important in the conditions of war and the complications caused by it.
