The goal of the project

  • Promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship among people with disabilities.
  • Create a database of training programs, courses, teachers, and information from national and local business support services and economic development agencies to effectively manage the potential of people with disabilities in the field of entrepreneurship.
  • Development of a comprehensive, multifunctional online tool to help people with disabilities discover, learn and realize entrepreneurial opportunities.
  • Assistance to decision-makers in understanding the problems faced by people with disabilities, interest in developing their economic and creative potential, adjusting existing and developing new strategies and policies in the field of empowerment of people with disabilities in the field of entrepreneurship, including social entrepreneurship.

  • Production of motivational videos, in which people with disabilities managed to free themselves from the shackles of discrimination, limited opportunities for self-realization and inaccessible social infrastructure. These videos are distributed through partner online resources and social networks, including YouTube. The videos are based on personal stories told by the protagonists and selected best practices from partner countries.   
  • Development of a survey with an analysis of training courses in entrepreneurship / social entrepreneurship,available online courses in partner countries. The project analyzed a number of existing open-licensed educational and training offers available in the participating countries. The research is based on the methodological concept of the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp - The Entrepreneurship Competence), the principles and methodology of which are presented and reviewed within the project.   
  • The project's reference and methodological product was a collection of information on regulatory acts, regulating the establishment and operation of social enterprises; about existing programs for financing the employment of people with disabilities, supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses, including social enterprises; about organizations, initiatives and government agencies that provide assistance in setting up their own business.
