How to obtain rehabilitation aids: a new booklet for residents of the Ivankiv community

The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPD), in cooperation with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), has prepared another booklet for residents of the Ivankiv community entitled "How to obtain assistive devices for rehabilitation (ADR)".

The booklet provides practical information on:

• хто має право на отримання ДЗР (зокрема люди з інвалідністю, діти, ветерани, літні люди);
• які саме засоби можна отримати за кошти державного бюджету (крісла колісні, ортези, протези, слухові апарати, засоби для догляду тощо);
• where to go in the community to submit documents;
• what are the main steps of the procedure and what is important to check in order to avoid delays?

The purpose of the booklet is to help community residents navigate bureaucratic procedures more quickly and confidently and obtain the necessary resources without unnecessary visits to various offices. This is another publication in a series designed to make information about support understandable and accessible to everyone.

The project "Improving access to quality multidisciplinary physical rehabilitation and inclusion of people with disabilities in the Ivankiv community" is implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in cooperation with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation.
