Відповідна можливість регулюється Законом України від 09.07.2003 №1058-IV “Про загальнообов’язкове державне пенсійне страхування”.
According to this law, persons with group I visual disabilities - blind and persons with group I disabilities since childhood - are entitled to early retirement pensions upon reaching the age of 50 for men and 40 for women and having at least 15 years of insurance coverage for men and at least 10 years for women.
A pension is granted upon application by a person. In case of granting a pension to incapacitated persons or persons whose legal capacity is limited, the application must be submitted by their legal representatives.
The following documents are required to apply for an early retirement pension:
- passport;
- the registration number of the taxpayer's account card (RNOKPP);
- documents on insurance experience: employment record book, diploma (full-time education), military ID, etc;
- a certificate from the Medical and Social Expert Committee recognizing a person as a person with a disability;
- upon request, a certificate of salary for the calculation of pensions for any 60 consecutive calendar months before July 1, 2000;
- if you change your last name, you will need a marriage certificate;
- if there are documents certifying the person's special status.
It should be noted that in 2024, Ukraine changed rules for retirement. Now, Ukrainians need to have at least 31 years of insurance coverage to retire.
