Ukrainian society faces serious challenges related to the need to create an effective support system for veterans with disabilities. This involves not only material support, but also the integration of these people into civilian life, ensuring a decent level of medical services, rehabilitation, education and employment.
We will discuss the problems that may arise along the way during a webinar to be held as part of the Rehab4U project. The event will focus on the following topics:
• laws and amendments to legislative acts that define the status of war veterans and guarantee them social protection;
• medical guarantees for veterans, including access to various types of rehabilitation;
• the operation of the e-Veteran digital information and reference system.
You will receive specific advice on how to apply for benefits for veterans with disabilities — for housing, land plots, utility payments, etc. You will also learn about legislative initiatives for the development of veteran businesses, take part in a discussion on employment quotas for veterans, and gain many useful contacts.
