Подарунок до Дня соціального працівника від Національної асамблеї людей з інвалідністю України (Eng)

Щодня соціальні працівниці невеликих населених пунктів змушені пішки проходити кілометри, щоб надати допомогу людям з інвалідністю та самотнім людям старшого віку, підтримати їх і вислухати. У середньому одна спеціалістка відповідає за 8-10, які можуть знаходитися в різних селах. За мінімальну заробітну плату вони віддають свої тепло і турботу тим, хто цього найбільше потребує.
Напередодні професійного свята — Дня соціального працівника — Національна асамблея людей з інвалідністю України зробила соцпрацівницям сюрприз і подарувала новенькі велосипеди Торчинській, Рожищенській, Карлівській та Сторожинецькій територіальним громадам.
Ровери обладнані місткими корзинами, куди жінки можуть складати покупки, ліки та інші необхідні підопічним речі. На велосипеді спеціалістки долатимуть свій маршрут набагато швидше, до того ж не доведеться нести в руках важкий наплічник або сумки.
Щиро віримо, що велосипеди служитимуть надійно і довго! І, звісно, спільно з партнерами докладатимемо зусиль, аби забезпечити засобами пересування й інші громади.
Проєкт «Багатосекторальна інклюзивна гуманітарна допомога для ВПО, осіб, які повертаються, ветеранів та приймаючих громад в Україні» реалізує Національна Асамблея людей з інвалідністю України за підтримки МЗС НІмеччини та Християнської місії незрячих.

Every day, social workers in small settlements are forced to walk kilometers to provide help, support and a listening ear to people with disabilities and lonely elderly people. On average, one worker is responsible for 8-10 wards, who may be in different villages. For minimum wage, they give their warmth and care to those who need it most.
On the eve of the professional holiday — the Day of the Social Worker — the National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine made a surprise for social workers and presented brand new bicycles to the Torchynska, Rozhyschenska, Karlivska and Storozhynetska territorial communities.
The bicycles are equipped with spacious baskets for the women to carry shopping, medicines and other items needed by their wards. On a bicycle, the women specialists will cover their distance much faster, and they will not have to carry a heavy rucksack or bags in their hands.
We sincerely believe that the bicycles will be reliable and long lasting! And, of course, we will continue to work with our partners to provide transport for other communities.
Project «The Multisectoral Inclusive Humanitarian Assistance for Internally Displaced Persons, Returnees, Veterans and Host Communities in Ukraine» is being implemented by the National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine with support from the Christian Blind Mission.
