The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPWD) is taking measures to support and solidarize with the restoration of the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, which suffered from the latest shelling by the enemy aggressor.

After the emergency situation, when civilian infrastructure and a medical facility were targeted by hostile military actions, the NAIU committed itself to providing financial support to 50 children who suffered as a result of this shelling. The NAIU Secretariat team raised and transferred its own funds, as well as attracted international partners, including the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM).

The NAIU calls on all stakeholders to join joint efforts to restore and protect civilian infrastructure and ensure the safety of children and youth in war.
