Two girls with «severe» disabilities received a «specialist at home» service, which served as a respite for their parents and encouraged them to activate their internal resources. Both children and parents received psychological support, which had a significant impact on their well-being, general psychological mood, and reduced internal anxiety. The children became more sociable and happier because they received additional attention and care.

Therefore, we believe that the result of this event will significantly affect the quality of life of families raising children with disabilities in the future!» comments project manager Tetiana Manuilova. increased awareness of the city authorities of the Uman community about the legal rights of persons with disabilities, the practice of their implementation, and current needs.
Finally, we want to share a small success story of the project: Andriy, 4 years old, came to the project with a non-verbal disability. The boy's cognitive activity was not developed. He was poorly oriented in the environment. Classes with specialists gave a positive developmental trend: attention improved, mental processes improved; the child became better oriented in the environment, the first syllables and simple words appeared. The work of a competent team of project specialists gave a significant impetus to the child's development.
The implementation of the Inclusive Coworking project will help improve the accessibility of children and youth with SEN and disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, to social services and rehabilitation that every child or young person in need needs.
