Національна Асамблея людей з інвалідністю України звернулась до організацій батьків, які виховують дітей з інвалідністю з проханням залучити дітей до обговорення подій, які сьогодні відбуваються в Україні – що діти думають про війну, про що мріють. Ми цінуємо щирість і відкритість дітей. Кому було складно писати, намагався намалювати свої почуття, щоб ми, дорослі, їх зрозуміли і відчули. Дякуємо всім організаціям, хто доєднався до нашої ініціативи, батькам, які дозволили поспілкуватись з дітьми.
Якби я міг зупинити війну… Ми діти війни, яка забрала у нас наше дитинство, позбавила домівки, друзів, можливості вчитись, займатись спортом, радіти життю. Ми жертви бомбардувань, знущань, вбивств російськими військовими. Ми мріємо жити у мирній і вільній Україні. Ми мріємо повернутись в свої міста, ходити до школи, зустрічатись з друзями, відпочивати. Ми мріємо не ховатись в бомбосховищах, не жити в укриттях. Ми мріємо, щоб наші рідні були з нами.
Своїми думками через малюнки поділились діти з різних міст, різного віку.
