This event aligns with the UN Secretary-General’s UNiTE 2025 Campaign Theme: “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.”
The webinar will explore:
- forms and dynamics of digital violence (cyberstalking, image-based abuse, deepfakes, hate speech, etc.);
- how technology-facilitated abuse disproportionately affects women with disabilities;
- gaps in accessibility, legal protection, and institutional response;
- opportunities for cooperation between disability rights and women’s rights movements.
The purpose of the event is to amplify the voices of women with disabilities, foster knowledge-sharing across regions, and support the development of future collaboration and advocacy networks.
