Free psychological and psychiatric assistance - How and where to apply - Practical advice on self-help (Booklet) (ENG)

June 18, 2024

Do you feel constantly exhausted and tired? Is it difficult to communicate with people, and nothing around you arouses interest and pleasure? According to the World Health Organization, 2 million 800 thousand Ukrainians are currently suffering from depression.

To support those facing mental health problems, the team of the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine has developed a booklet with practical self-help tips.

In this book, we have collected materials published on the websites of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and the National Health Service of Ukraine, in particular as part of the implementation of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program «Are You OK?» initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.

What are we talking about?
✔️ symptoms that indicate that you should seek psychological help;
✔️ institutions and doctors who provide psychological assistance;
✔️ basic psychological care, which is provided free of charge as part of primary health care;
✔️ basic psychological services provided free of charge by family doctors, general practitioners, and pediatricians;
✔️ practical self-help tips.

You can download the manual on our website: https://bit.ly/3xilvWt.
Take care of your mental health and take care of yourself!

This publication was developed by the All-Ukrainian Public Association «National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine» within the framework of the project «Multisectoral Humanitarian Assistance for IDPs, Returnees, Veterans and Host Communities in Ukraine», with the financial support of the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO), the Christian Blind Mission (CBM) and the European Disability Forum (EDF).
