Analytical report on the results of the survey on the state of readiness of persons (children) with disabilities and older persons for the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025

In August 2024, the National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine, with the support of the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM), conducted a survey to determine the state of readiness of persons (children) with disabilities and older people for the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025.
As a result of the work done, an Analytical Report was prepared, which provides information on the challenges and problems faced by these groups in preparing for the cold season, as well as generalized conclusions and recommendations on the need to analyze the needs of people with disabilities and older people, identify barriers they face in accessing humanitarian assistance (including financial support, medicines, food, energy sources, etc.) and preparing for the autumn and winter period, and that
In addition, the document contains specific recommendations to increase the inclusiveness of humanitarian programs and improve conditions for people with disabilities and older people in preparation for the winter period.

The report was prepared and published within the framework of the project "Crisis in Ukraine: Response and Recovery with Persons with Disabilities (Phase 2), implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in cooperation with the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM).
