Advocacy Guide: Empowering DPOs to Advance Disability Rights

The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPD) presents a new Advocacy Guide for Civil Society Organizations on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. This practical resource is based on the UN Committee’s Concluding Observations on Ukraine’s combined second and third periodic reports on the implementation of the CRPD.
The guide outlines concrete actions for both the state and DPOs to effectively implement the Convention.
Topics include accessibility, non-discrimination, participation in decision-making, education, justice, and more.
The manual was prepared as part of the project "Multi-sectoral Humanitarian Assistance for IDPs, Returnees, Veterans and Host Communities in Ukraine", which is implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine with financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO), the Christian Mission for the Blind (CBM) and the European Disability Forum (EDF).
