Accessibility of sanitary facilities for persons with disabilities in public places

The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine presents guidelines for the arrangement of accessible sanitary facilities. The document contains practical recommendations, diagrams and drawings to ensure inclusivity of premises in public buildings, such as schools, medical institutions, shopping centers, etc.

The recommendations take into account the current legal framework of Ukraine, international standards and practical experience of other countries. The main goal is to create a space that meets the needs of people with disabilities, people with limited mobility, families with children, and also takes into account specific needs, such as those of people with stomach ailments or sensory impairments.

The guidelines are intended to promote equality, privacy and dignity for all groups of people, developing inclusiveness in society.
