Війна змушує нас змінювати своє життя, пристосовуватись до умов воєнного часу. З перших днів війни Громадська організація «Асоціація захисту прав та допомоги людям з інвалідністю «Відкриті серця» надає екстрено-кризову підтримки людям з інвалідністю, у тому числі ВПО, похилого віку та сім’ям з дітьми з інвалідністю в сільській місцевості. Активність людей з інвалідністю та членів їх родин в питаннях захисту своїх прав та відстоюванню своїх інтересів дуже низька, бо пов’язана з необізнаністю, відсутністю мотивації, фактичною ізоляцією.

Війна значно погіршила якість життя всіх українців, однак, серед тих, хто опинився в найскладніших життєвих обставинах, люди з важкою формою інвалідності, що потребують постійної сторонньої допомоги та їх родини.

Вони опинились в тотальній ізоляції, на межі бідності, втративши доступ до гуманітарної допомоги та соціальних послуг, фактично виключені із життя. Матері та опікунки не мають можливості працювати, бо вимушені постійно доглядати за своїми дітьми та підопічними. Соціальний та психологічний стан цих родин постійно погіршується. Вони потребують психологічної та гуманітарної допомоги та підтримки.

Асоціація «Відкриті серця» в рамках проєкту «Криза в Україні: Реагування та відновлення з урахуванням потреб людей з інвалідністю під керівництвом та за координації організацій осіб з інвалідністю (2-га фаза)» впроваджує мініпроєкт «Включення осіб з інвалідністю в гуманітарне реагування у Вінницькій області». 

Мініпроєкт триватиме всього лише три місяці, але організація планує зробити за цей час багато добрих справ. Надати інформаційно – консультативну та психологічну підтримку людям з інвалідністю, сім’ям, що виховують дітей з інвалідністю, законним представникам недієздатних осіб, людям літнього віку, в т.ч ВПО. Забезпети гуманітарну підтримку у вигляді продуктових сертифікатів особам з інвалідністю, похилого віку, сім’ям дітей та дорослих недієздатних осіб з інвалідністю з дитинства. Надати послуги соціально – трудової адаптації для людей з інвалідністю старше 30 років, що потребують сторонньої допомоги.

Проєкт «Криза в Україні: Реагування та відновлення з урахуванням потреб людей з інвалідністю під керівництвом та за координації організацій осіб з інвалідністю (2-га фаза)» реалізує ГС «ВГО «Національна Асамблея людей з інвалідністю України» спільно з Європейським форумом інвалідності (EDF) та Християнською місією незрячих (СВМ).

We act together – we overcome difficulties together

War forces us to change our lives, to adapt to wartime conditions. Since the first days of the war, the public organization “Association for the Protection of Rights and Assistance to People with Disabilities “Open Hearts” has been providing emergency and crisis support to people with disabilities, including IDPs, the elderly, and families with children with disabilities in rural areas. The activity of people with disabilities and their family members in protecting their rights and defending their interests is very low, because it is associated with ignorance, lack of motivation, and actual isolation.

The war significantly worsened the quality of life of all Ukrainians, however, among those who found themselves in the most difficult life circumstances, there are people with a severe form of disability who need constant external assistance and their families.

They found themselves in total isolation, on the verge of poverty, having lost access to humanitarian aid and social services, effectively excluded from life. Mothers and guardians do not have the opportunity to work, because they are forced to constantly take care of their children and wards. The social and psychological condition of these families is constantly deteriorating. They need psychological and humanitarian aid and support.

Association “Open Hearts” as part of the project “Crisis in Ukraine: Response and recovery taking into account the needs of people with disabilities under the leadership and coordination of organizations of people with disabilities (2nd phase)” is implementing the mini-project “Inclusion of people with disabilities in humanitarian response in Vinnytsia oblast”.

The mini-project will last only three months, but the organization plans to do a lot of good things during this time. Provide informational, advisory and psychological support to people with disabilities, families raising children with disabilities, legal representatives of disabled persons, elderly people, including IDPs. Provide humanitarian support in the form of food certificates to persons with disabilities, the elderly, families of children and adults with disabilities from childhood. To provide social and labor adaptation services for people with disabilities over 30 years old who need external assistance.
