In a full-scale war, people with disabilities are often among the most vulnerable groups in crises. That is why humanitarian response legislation should take into account their rights and needs.
What are the international standards for ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities in humanitarian response? What does national legislation provide for in the context of the rights and needs of persons with disabilities in humanitarian response? What guarantees are provided at the legislative level for internally displaced persons with disabilities?
These and a number of other issues will be discussed at a webinar organized by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine within the framework of the project «Strengthening the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Response and Recovery in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities», implemented in cooperation with з IDA (International Disability Alliance).
