The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine invites you to attend a training session as part of the project "Together in Action: Enhancing the Capacity of Civil Society to Advocate for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities."
You will be able to deepen your knowledge and master practical skills in the field of protection of people with disabilities, in particular in war, humanitarian crises and emergencies. The speakers will pay special attention to the issues of safety, safe guarding and inclusion as components of responsible activities of civil society organizations.
The event will combine theoretical knowledge with practical cases and discussions, which will allow participants to improve their skills in protection issues and further implement the acquired knowledge in their daily activities.
The main topics of the conversation:
- Protection of persons with disabilities in humanitarian response;
- principles of security and safe-guarding in the work of a non-governmental organization;
- inclusion and non-discriminatory approach in assistance programs;
- the role of civil society organizations in ensuring the protection of vulnerable groups.
A detailed training program will be provided additionally.
