On 29 October 2026, the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPD) invites you to join the webinar “Protecting the Rights of Women with Disabilities During Humanitarian Assistance and Recovery in the Context of Gender-Based Violence.”
Amid the full-scale war, women with disabilities may face increased risks of gender-based violence, as well as additional barriers when seeking assistance and protection. Inaccessible information, physical and communication barriers, discrimination, and insufficient consideration of individual needs can make it more difficult to access essential services.
How can we ensure that the rights of women with disabilities are protected in such situations? What should humanitarian organisations and service providers take into account? How can assistance and response mechanisms for gender-based violence be made accessible to all women?
These questions will be at the heart of the webinar discussion.
