We continue to inform about our organizations that are part of the NAPD. Today, a post from the Kharkiv Association of Blind Lawyers about the implementation of the project “Disability in a New Way – Informing about Changes in Legislation and the Use of Assistive Technologies.”
The second “Kitchen to Touch” event took place in the public space “Echoes of War”
During the meeting, people with visual impairments were able to test in practice an induction hob with a language interface, which was purchased for the ergonomic room as part of the project "Disability in a New Way - Informing about Changes in Legislation and the Use of Assistive Technologies."
During the tasting of delicacies prepared by one of the participants of the event using the new stove, the hostess shared her impressions of its use, and all those present were able to share their own experiences with the use of kitchen appliances by people with visual impairments.
Having demonstrated the capabilities of modern devices with a language interface, the organizers emphasized that the development and use of modern technologies allows for the elimination of various barriers in everyday life.
The project is being implemented with the financial support of the Abilis Foundation.
