Webinar "Professional Burnout" (video)

2 October 2025

Check out the webinar "Professional Burnout" organised by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine as part of the project "Together in Action: Building the Capacity of Civil Society to Advocate for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities."

It covers how to determine at what point and under what circumstances your workload has led to burnout. American psychoanalyst Herbert Freudenberger divided this phenomenon into 12 stages: the need to prove one's importance, increased effort, ignoring one's own needs, etc. You will hear advice from an expert on how to survive with minimal losses in stressful conditions. There will also be a lot of practical work, in particular, classes using the DPDG method, which is the Ukrainian analogue of the world-famous EMDR approach, which allows you to overcome stress.

Speaker: Olena Shevchuk, psychologist.

The project "Together in Action: Enhancing Civil Society Capacity in Advocating for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" is implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in partnership with the Resource Centre for Non-Governmental Organisations with funding from the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF)
