We invite you to watch a recording of a webinar held by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine as part of the project “Strengthening the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities during humanitarian response and recovery in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.”
The speaker of the event is Yaroslav Taranets, head of the advocacy team at the Vostok SOS charitable foundation.
You will hear an analysis of the support programs that are currently available to IDPs, including persons with disabilities. These include an overview of housing programs, employment and economic integration of displaced persons with disabilities, information on social and medical services. In particular, about the social service of a shelter for people with limited mobility, long-term nursing care for evacuees, and the guaranteed right of IDPs to free legal aid.
