Мета семінару: Підвищення рівня безпеки під час перебування людей на пішохідних переходах, особливо у темну пору доби, забезпечення світловідбиваючими елементами, для підвищення рівня безпеки під час перетину проїжджій частині вулиці.
Відкрила семінар Голова правління Полтавської обласної організації УТОС, керівник проекту Марина Бабець. Вона розповіла учасникам заходу про проект в цілому та про мету проведення даного заходу зокрема.
Капітан поліції Зінюха Марина, начальник відділу зв’язків з громадськістю управління патрульної поліції в Полтавській області розповіла про важливість дотримання правил безпеки під час пересування проїжджою частиною міста особливо у темну пору доби.
Спікером теоретичної частини семінару, що складалася з трьох частин був тарший лейтенант поліції Возниця Руслан Сергійович, інспектор відділу зв’язків з громадськістю Управління патрульної поліції в Полтавській області.
Розглядали такі теми:
«Важливість дотримання правил дорожнього руху». Спікер нагадав учасникам семінару правила дорожнього руху. Розставив акцентищодо правил, дотримання яких пішоходу з порушенням зору забезпечить максимальний рівень безпеки, особливо у темряві.
«Видимість пішохода на проїжджій частині». Під час даної сесії пан Руслан розвіяв міфи, які часто створюють у людей, особливо у незрячих, уявлення про те, що видимість на проїжджій частині більша, ніж вона є насправді.; про те, що водії винні у ситуаціях, у яких насправді ДТП трапляються через недостатню видимість на дорозі і через недотримання правил дорожнього руху пішоходами чи іншими учасниками ДТП.
«Важливість носіння світловідбиваючих елементів». Тут інспектор поліції особливо акцентував увагу на останніх змінах у нормативних документах, де віднедавно зазначено, що у темну пору доби чи під час несприятливих погодніх умов пішоходи зобов’язані носити на одязі світловідбиваючи елементи.
Блок «Запитання- відповіді» був дуже насиченим активністю учасників семінару, які ставили запитання представникам поліції, відповіді на які і обізнаність у яких є важливою для повсякденної взаємодії з оточуючими їх учасниками руху на проїжджій частині та на під’їзних дорогах біля під’їздів багатоповерхівок.
Під час практичної частини семінару його учасники виготовили світловідбиваючі елементи (флікери), серця, власноруч. Майстер-клас з виготовлення цих світловідбиваючіх елементів провели представники відділу зв’язків з громадськістю Управління патрульної поліції в Полтавській області.
У заході взяло участь 44 особи.
Учасникам заходу, особам з інвалідністю вручено світловідбиваючі браслети та світловідбиваючі наклейки, придбані в рамках даного проекту.
On January 26, 2024, a seminar “Safety in the Dark” was held in the Poltava Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Society of the Blind for the involvement of employees of the Patrol Police Department in the Poltava Region as part of the ” Crisis in Ukraine: Response and recovery taking into account the needs of people with disabilities under the leadership and coordination of organizations of people with disabilities (the second phase)”, which is implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in support of the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Mission of the Blind (CBM).
The purpose of the seminar: Increasing the level of safety when people are at pedestrian crossings, especially in the dark, providing reflective elements to increase the level of safety when crossing the roadway.
The seminar was opened by the head of the board of Poltava regional organization of the Ukrainian Society of the Blind, project manager Maryna Babets. She told the participants of the event about the project in general and about the purpose of this event in particular.
Police captain Maryna Zinyuha, head of the public relations department of the patrol police department in the Poltava region, spoke about the importance of observing safety rules when moving through the city, especially at night.
The speaker of the theoretical part of the seminar, which consisted of three parts, was senior police lieutenant Voznytsia Ruslan, inspector of the public relations department of the Patrol Police Department in the Poltava Region.
The following topics were considered:
“The importance of following traffic rules.” The speaker reminded the seminar participants of the traffic rules. Emphasized the rules, the observance of which will ensure the maximum level of safety for a visually impaired pedestrian, especially in the dark.
“Visibility of a pedestrian on the roadway.” During this session, Mr. Ruslan dispelled myths that often create in people, especially blind people, the idea that visibility on the roadway is greater than it actually is.; that drivers are to blame in situations in which road accidents actually occur due to insufficient visibility on the road and due to non-observance of traffic rules by pedestrians or other participants in road accidents.
“The Importance of Wearing Reflective Items.” Here, the police inspector particularly focused on the latest changes in regulatory documents, which recently stated that pedestrians must wear reflective elements on their clothing at night or during adverse weather conditions.
The “Question-Answer” block was very full of activity of the participants of the seminar, who asked questions to the police representatives, the answers to which and the awareness of which are important for their daily interaction with the traffic participants around them on the roadway and on the access roads near the entrances of high-rise buildings .
During the practical part of the seminar, its participants made reflective elements (flickers), hearts, with their own hands. A master class on the production of these reflective elements was conducted by representatives of the public relations department of the Patrol Police Department in the Poltava Region.
44 people took part in the event.
Participants of the event, persons with disabilities were awarded reflective bracelets and reflective stickers purchased within the framework of this project.
