On the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, which is celebrated annually on April 2, the public organization “Autism. Conscious Parenting” announces a virtual exhibition of works by young people with autism, which will be launched in the first days of April. The exhibition is in its final stages and will soon be available for viewing, so stay tuned for announcements. And to raise awareness about autism and support families facing this disorder, we have developed an informational flyer and a banner for the organization.
What is autism and why is it important? Autism is a developmental disorder that affects the way people perceive and interact with the world. It is not a disease, but a difference in perception and communication. Education and understanding of autism can help create a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
As part of the initiative, we have developed an information flyer and a banner containing information about autism. The information flyer for April 2, 2024, features photos of our activities, as well as the dreams and hopes of mothers of teenagers and young people with autism, and what kind of future they dream of for their children.
We urge everyone to join the awareness campaign by sharing information materials on social media and communicating with others about autism. Let's work together to ensure that every child with autism receives the necessary support and development opportunities!
This event was held within the framework of the project "Crisis in Ukraine: Response and Recovery with the Needs of Persons with Disabilities, led and coordinated by organizations of persons with disabilities (Phase 2), implemented by the National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine with the support of the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM).
