Mykola and Vasyl Melnyk are father and son, both of whom have disabilities, but always remain kind and compassionate people with big hearts. There are many such families in the Mamayivska territorial community, but this family is distinguished by its thirst for life and desire to be visible citizens of their country.
The team of the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine always helps those in need. Last month, the Melnyk family received rehabilitation aids for their father, and we prepared a special gift for Vasyl - a tricycle, which he was looking forward to because now he will be able to move around the village on his own.
The bike has already been delivered to the Melnyks, and according to Vasyl, it is comfortable and rides well. The man himself came to our regional coordinators to thank them and show off the new bike.
We are glad that together we were able to turn a small dream into reality.
