The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has approved the basic sets for the national Classifier of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF)

February 14, 2024

Now, for common conditions and diseases, standardized “basic kits” will be used, which contain exactly the indicators that must be examined and measured in order to properly develop a person's rehabilitation plan.

These basic sets of ICFs will describe the conditions that rehabilitation specialists encounter most often, such as traumatic brain injury, limb injury, stroke, etc.

Now that the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has adopted the relevant order «On Approval of Recommended Domain Sets under NC 030:2022 “Classifier of Functioning, Limitation of Life and Health” to describe patient functioning», work will begin on the formation of these sets. And after a while, they will appear in the Electronic Healthcare System.

The text of the order is available here: https://moz.gov.ua/article/ministry-mandates/nakaz-moz-ukraini-vid-22012024–107-pro-zatverdzhennja-rekomendovanih-naboriv-domeniv-za-nk-0302022-klasifikator-funkcionuvannja–obmezhennja-zhittedijalnosti-ta-zdorov%e2%80%99ja–dlja-opisu-funkcionuvannja-pacienta
