The main goal of the campaign is to increase the level of accessibility of the urban environment and services for people with disabilities through public dialogue, partnership with local authorities, and business involvement.
It is planned to audit the community's infrastructure and public spaces for accessibility for people with disabilities. The identified problem areas will become points for further changes that will help remove barriers and make Storozhynets comfortable for everyone.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the pressing issues faced by people with disabilities in everyday life, as well as to develop joint solutions and strategies to overcome them. Cooperation between community members and authorities is key to the success of inclusive change.
The organizers of the event, the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPWD), the NGO "Leader" and the Storozhynets City Council, invite everyone who cares about accessibility and equal rights to join the initiative.
"Together, we can make our community open and friendly to everyone," the organizers call.
Join the advocacy campaign to make Storozhynets a place where there is no room for barriers, but where mutual respect and support reign!
The event is held with the financial support of the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPDU) in partnership with the European Disability Forum (EDF) and with funding from the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) and CBM (Christian Blind Mission).
