Pension Fund of Ukraine implemented a new electronic service that allows citizens to apply remotely for certain types of state social benefits.
According to the agency on its website, These include:
- monthly financial assistance for a person in need of care due to a mental disorder;
- assistance to victims of the Chernobyl disaster who were evacuated or resettled to a new place of residence;
- compensation to the liquidators of the Chornobyl accident who participated in nuclear tests;
- assistance for the rehabilitation of citizens who suffered from the Chernobyl disaster or participated in nuclear tests;
- compensation to victims of the Chernobyl disaster for lost earnings;
- payment of compensation until the age of majority for children with disabilities related to the consequences of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant who do not eat;
- compensation for real estate lost in the event of resettlement from radioactive contamination zones;
- temporary assistance to children whose parents evade child support;
- one-time compensation to persons with disabilities as a result of injuries caused by explosive devices;
- payment of an annual health improvement allowance to persons with disabilities resulting from injuries caused by explosive devices;
- monetary compensation for the cost of one-time in-kind assistance «baby package»;
- one-time remuneration for women «Heroine Mother».
How to apply online
Step 1. On the web portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (https://portal.pfu.gov.ua) log in with a qualified electronic signature (QES) and click the button «Login».
Step 2. In your account, in the left panel in the section «Communications with the FIU» select the option «Certain types of state social benefits».
Step 3. Fill out the online application form that appears on the screen.
Provide general information: the name of the main department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine where you are registered; the type of person submitting the application; all necessary information about the applicant, an identity document, and the address of registration and residence.
Important: fields marked with an asterisk «*» are required.
Step 4. In the field of the online form «Payment data» choose a payment method (via mail or bank) and enter the necessary details.
Step 5. If necessary, in the field «Participants of the appeal» press «Add», to specify information about a family member.
Step 6. In the field «Information on the types and amounts of income of persons belonging to the family...» enter the family member's income data if it is not available in the state registers by clicking «Add».
Step 7. If necessary, attach copies of the scanned documents (the list is provided in the drop-down menu), indicate how you want to receive a notification of the appointment of state social assistance or allowance, and consent to the processing of personal data.
Step 8. Check the data of the generated application and send it to the Pension Fund of Ukraine by clicking the button «Sign and send to the Pension Fund».

You can view the results of the application for payment in the section «My requests» → «Request status».
