Інклюзивні громади. Що вдалося за 4 місяці? / Inclusive communities. What we have achieved already in 4 months?

У вересні 2023 року Національна асамблея людей з інвалідністю України стартувала реалізацією проєкту «Мультисекторальна гуманітарна допомога з урахуванням інвалідності для ВПО, репатріантів, ветеранів та приймаючих громад в Україні». Пілотними обрали шість громад Волинської, Полтавської та Чернівецької областей, що налічують 138 населених пунктів.
Щодня протягом чотирьох місяців координатори та координаторки в регіонах, консультанти, команда Секретаріату НАІУ старанно працювали, аби реалізація проєкту принесла користь громадам та людям, які там проживають.
Що вдалося зробити?
✔ зібрали команду однодумців: жителів громад, фахівців, представників органів місцевого самоврядування, громадських організацій, людей з інвалідністю, сімей, які виховують дітей та молодь з інвалідністю;
✔ провели картографування громад та дослідили, скільки людей з інвалідністю мешкає в пілотних областях та чи доступні для них соціальні послуги, транспорт, медицина тощо;
✔ проаналізували стан наявних інституцій в сфері охорони психічного здоров’я;
✔ адресно надали грошову допомогу більше 1000 осіб цільової групи, ще 400 людей забезпечили асистивними технологіями;
✔ започаткували у пілотних громадах адвокаційну кампанію «Інклюзивні громади — об’єднані дії для захисту прав людей з інвалідністю за їхньої участі»;
✔ підвищили спроможність організацій-членів та партнерів НАІУ, провели навчання з питань інклюзивного гуманітарного реагування, безпеки, першої медичної та психосоціальної допомоги;
✔ підтримали роботу соціальних працівників у малих населених пунктах та придбали для них велосипеди.
Ми віримо, що зміни на краще в громадах можливі, якщо будемо працювати як одна команда. Ми знаємо, що завдяки фахівцям НАІУ допомогу отримують ті, хто найбільше її потребує, вразливі серед вразливих і що ми дійдемо до кожної оселі.

«Я пересуваюсь на кріслі колісному, живу у маленькому містечку в квартирі. На отримані кошти придбала ліки, також купила продукти». – Ніна, Полтавська область
«Ми ВПО ще з 2014 року. Не вистачає коштів на постійне лікування сина, нього складне захворювання. Не можу залишати його самого, відповідно не можу працевлаштуватися. Гроші спрямувала на лікування». – Наталія, Полтавська область
«Маю першу групу інвалідності. Отримані кошти витратив для закупівлі дров, щоб взимку обігрівати житло Велика подяка». – Іван, Полтавська область
«Маю інвалідність, пересуваюсь на кріслі колісному. Живу в квартирі разом з дружиною. Допомогу витратив на засоби гігієни». – Василь, Чернівецька область
«Маю інвалідність з дитинства. Проживаю разом з дружиною і дітьми в селі. Допомогу витратив на одяг для себе і дітей. Дякую». – Дмитро, Чернівецька область
Ми віримо, що подолаємо бар’єри на шляху до створення інклюзивних громад, працюючи на відновлення нашої країни.
Проєкт і наша співпраця з громадами продовжиться і в 2024 році.

Inclusive communities. What we have achieved already in 4 months?
In September 2023, the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine started the implementation of the project ” Multisectoral humanitarian assistance for IDPs, returnees, veterans and host communities in Ukraine”. Six communities from the Volyn, Poltava and Chernivtsi regions were chosen which include 138 settlements.
Every day for four months, coordinators in the regions, consultants, and the team of the NAPD Secretariat worked diligently to ensure that the implementation of the project benefited the communities and people living there.
What did we manage to do?
They collected a team of like-minded people: residents of communities, experts, representatives of local self-government bodies, community organizations, people with disabilities, families who care for children and youth with disabilities;
carried out a mapping of the community and tracked how many people with disabilities live in dense areas and the social services, transport, medicine, etc. available to them;
analyzed the state of existing institutions in the field of mental health;
targeted penny assistance was provided to more than 1000 individuals of the target group, another 400 people were provided with assistive technologies;
launched an advocacy campaign “Inclusive Communities – United Actions to Protect the Rights of People with Disabilities for Their Participation” among local communities;
promoted the capacity of member organizations and partners of NAPD, initiated nutritional inclusive humanitarian response, safety, first medical and psychosocial assistance;
supported the work of social workers in small settlements and provided them with bicycles.
We believe that changes for the better in communities are possible if we work as a team. We know that thanks to the specialists of NAPD, those who need it the most, the most vulnerable among the most vulnerable, get help and that we will reach every home.

We believe we will overcome the barriers to creating inclusive communities as we work to rebuild our country.
