We are pleased to present the March issue of the newsletter «The Right to Rehabilitation”

March 31, 2021

Please find the March issue of the newsletter «The Right to Rehabilitation».

This issue is dedicated to physical therapy after a femur fracture. A femur fracture is the main injury to the musculoskeletal system among people over 65 years of age, and it ranks first among the causes of disability in the elderly.

You will also find out whether the means realize the end. We will discuss with you the topic of passive rehabilitation methods for children with cerebral palsy, which have become very popular in our country and beyond. One of these methods is rehabilitation with the help of the Lokomat complex.

The Bulletin is issued as part of the awareness-raising campaign launched by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPWD). The campaign focuses on informing the public about the right to rehabilitation, raising awareness about physical therapy, promoting the importance of physical therapy/rehabilitation services for maintaining and restoring quality of life, and creating demand for physical therapy services.

The educational campaign was made possible by NAIU's participation in international project «Strengthening rehabilitation services in the healthcare system», implemented by UCP Wheels for Humanity (UCPW) with the support of the Ukrainian Association of Physical Therapy (UAPT), the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT) and the Republican Medical College of Tajikistan (RMC), with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
