A resident of Vinnytsia region complained to the National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine about a social protection agency that failed to take into account the estimated time for their implementation, taking into account the individual needs and physical condition of the recipient of the social service, when determining the main activities that constitute the content of the social service on a professional basis.
After analyzing the situation, the NAIC concluded that the social protection authority underestimated some key indicators that constitute the content of social home care services, the frequency and approximate time for their implementation in the contract for the provision of social care services on a professional basis by at least two and sometimes even three times.
To resolve this problem, the NAIU helped the applicant to file complaints with various authorities, including the National Social Service of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the applicant sent us a response to the National Social Service of Ukraine, which stated that the results of an unscheduled inspection revealed violations of current legislation by the social protection agency in the provision of social services (namely, the approximate time for their implementation, taking into account the individual needs and physical condition of the recipient of the social service, was not taken into account when determining the main activities that constitute the content of the social service on a professional basis), which was followed by an Act with a requirement to take appropriate measures.
The NAIU will continue to monitor the development of relevant events, which the NSSU promised to inform about additionally.
