NAIU joined the Annual Conference of the Skills Alliance for Ukraine

January 22, 2026

On January 22, 2026, the Annual Conference of the Skills Alliance for Ukraine was held in Kyiv in a hybrid format. The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPWD) took part in the event; the organization was represented by the Secretary General of the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine, Viktoriia Nazarenko.

The discussion will focus on skills development as a response to labor shortages and recovery needs: productivity and competitiveness of the economy, approaches to upskilling and retraining, and strengthening the role of employers in shaping the demand for training.

A special emphasis is placed on solutions for target groups, including IDPs, veterans, women, youth, older workers, and people with disabilities, as well as on removing barriers to access to the labor market.

NAIU's participation in this event is about a systemic presence in the professional environment: we consistently promote an approach where inclusion in education and employment is a standard. This means clear rules, flexible formats, support in the educational process and practical solutions that really work for people and employers.

Follow our updates as we continue to synchronize inclusive approaches with our partners so that they become part of policies and daily practice.
