The National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine is implementing the project «Multisectoral Humanitarian Assistance for IDPs, Returnees, Veterans and Host Communities in Ukraine« and is visiting pilot communities in Volyn, Poltava and Chernivtsi regions. During the visits, he meets with the project's target group - women and men with disabilities, families raising children and youth with disabilities, people aged 60+, and veterans. Сім’я Круків мешкає у одному з сіл Торчинської територіальної громади і займається сільським господарством — вирощує та продає полуницю, капусту. А ще виховує двох діток — 8-річного Андрійка та 10-річну Настю.
«Андрійко має інклюзивне навчання. У класі 18 дітей, з інвалідністю він один. У вчителя є асистент, він допомагає нашому сину, займається з ним додатково. Іншого виходу немає, аби Андрійко щось знав і вчився, мусимо щодня возити його до школи в Торчин», — розповідає мама, 38-річна Ольга Крук.
Найбільше Андрійку подобаються уроки фізкультури та математики. Насті ж до душі вишивання і заняття з трудового навчання. Аби зміцнювати фізичний стан сина, Ольга возить Андрійка на реабілітацію за державною програмою.
«У нашому населеному пункті дуже не вистачає садочка і школи. Дітей багато в селі, немає на кого їх лишити, поки працюєш. Люди змушені влаштовувати дітей до навчальних закладів в Луцьку, Торчині. Ну, і дороги, звісно. Ви самі бачили, в якому вони стані», — додає Ольга.

The Kruks family lives in one of the villages of Torchyn territorial community and is busy with agriculture: they grow and sell strawberries and cabbage. They also raise two children: 8-year-old Andriiko and 10-year-old Nastia.
“Andriiko is on inclusive education. There are 18 children in the class, and he is the only one with a disability. The teacher has an assistant, who helps our son and works with him additionally. There is no other way for us to let Andrii know and learn something – we have to take him to the school in Torchyn every day,” says his 38-year-old mother Olha Kruk.
Andriiko likes physical training and math classes the most. As for Nastia, she likes embroidery and labor training classes. To strengthen the physical condition of their son, Olha takes Andriiko to rehabilitation sessions under a state program.
Our settlement needs a kindergarten and a school very badly. There are a lot of children in the village, but there’s no one to ask to look after your children while you are working. People are forced to enroll their children in educational institutions in Lutsk and Torchyn. And the roads, of course. You’ve seen the condition of the roads yourself,” adds Olha.
