On January 1, 2025, Ukraine introduced a new system of assessment of daily functioning, which replaced the medical and social expert commissions (MSECs). As part of this reform, more than 1.4 million cases, including archived cases, have been transferred from MSECs to new healthcare institutions. If you have previously submitted documents for consideration by the MSEC, it is important to know which medical institution your case has been transferred to.
How to find out where your case has been transferred:
- Check it out table compliance: The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has published a table indicating which MSEC has transferred patient cases to which medical institution. This list is regularly updated and available on the official website of the Ministry of Health.
- Contact the hotline: For more information, you can call hotlines regional military administrations (RMAs). Contact numbers are also published on website MINISTRY OF HEALTH.
What to do after the case is transferred:
After your case is transferred to the new healthcare facility, you will be informed of the date, time and place of your case review by the expert team. The process is still being set up, but all procedures will be operating normally in the near future. It is important to stay in touch and follow the updates to be aware of the next steps.
This reform is aimed at ensuring transparency and convenience for patients, focusing on their needs and return to active life.
