ГО БДІ «Богдан» реалізовує корисний проєкт для людей з інвалідністю в громаді / NGO Parents of Children with Disabilities “Bogdan” implements a useful project for people with disabilities in the community

Громадські організації, які опікуються дітьми та молоддю з інвалідністю, працюють і базуються не лише у містах, а і у селах, а точніше – сільських територіальних громадах. Саме такою є Громадська організація батьків дітей з інвалідністю «Богдан». Місцем розташування та діяльності цієї організації є Кам’янська територіальна громада, до складу якої входять села Кам’яна, Михальча, Дубове, Спаська, Заволока, Глибочок, Ст. Бросківці. На території громади проживають 120 осіб з інвалідністю, серед яких 70 – діти з інвалідністю, а 50 – молодь з інвалідністю віком від 18 до 35 років.

Мета діяльності ГО БДІ «Богдан» – сприяння створенню особам з інвалідністю рівних прав з іншими громадянами України, можливостей для участі у всіх сферах суспільного життя, задоволенню їхніх соціальних, культурних, творчих, психологічних, матеріальних та інших інтересів. І в цьому їм, зокрема, допоможе участь у проєкті «Криза в Україні: Реагування та відновлення з урахуванням потреб людей з інвалідністю під керівництвом та за координації організацій осіб з інвалідністю (2-га фаза) (далі – Проєкт), що реалізує Національна Асамблея людей з інвалідністю України.

"В умовах воєнного стану особливо гостро стоїть питання підтримки і задоволення найбільш життєво важливих потреб людей, а особливо людей з інвалідністю чи сімей, які виховують дітей з інвалідністю, –говорить керівниця проєкту Галина Токар. – Зважаючи на складний стан економіки, медицини, освіти, та ін. соціально незахищені верстви населення залишаються наодинці зі своїми проблемами. Тому вкрай необхідною є підтримка та допомога (гуманітарна, психологічна, правова, матеріальна та ін.) соціально незахищених верств населення, в т. ч. людей з інвалідністю, сімей, які виховують дітей з інвалідністю, людей похилого віку, які не в змозі задовольнити елементарні потреби їжі, ліках, пересуванні, спілкуванні, соціально-психологічній безпеці, отриманні соціальних, правових та психологічних послуг в органах місцевої влади тощо.» ГО БДІ «Богдан» в рамках Проєкту вже реалізовує власний мініпроєкт «Гуманітарне реагування на потреби соціально незахищених верств населення в Кам’янській територіальній громаді під час війни. В рамках якого проводиться опитування потреб соціально незахищених сімей (в тому числі – з дітьми з інвалідністю), що дозволяє зібрати об’єктивну інформацію і проаналізувати стан дотримання їхніх прав.

В рамках проєкту в лютому було організовано і проведено круглий стіл «Захист прав соціально незахищених верств населення: реалії сьогодення». В заході взяли участь представники влади Чернівецької області, Кам’янської ТГ, а також Представниця Урядової уповноваженої з прав осіб з інвалідністю Валентина Добридіна.

Також заплановано видачу продуктових пайків для сімей із соціально незахищених верств населення та проведення навчально-практичного семінару з елементами тренінгу «Безпечний простір громади: взаємодія заради майбутнього».

"Crisis in Ukraine: Response and Recovery Taking into Account the Needs of Persons with Disabilities under the Leadership and Coordination of Disability Organizations (Phase 2)" (hereinafter - the Project), implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (hereinafter - the NAPDU) with the support of the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Mission of the Blind (CMB). As part of the project, NGOs working with people with disabilities prepared and defended grant applications for short-term projects. These projects will improve access to social services and humanitarian aid for people with disabilities, which is especially important in the context of war and the complications it has caused.

Public organizations that take care of children and youth with disabilities work and are based not only in cities, but also in villages, or more precisely, in rural territorial communities. This is exactly what the Public Organization of Parents of Children with Disabilities “Bogdan” is. The location and activity of this organization is the Kamian territorial community, which includes the villages of Kamian, Mikhalcha, Dubove, Spaska, Zavoloka, Hlybochok, St. Broskivtsi 120 people with disabilities live on the territory of the community, among whom 70 are children with disabilities, and 50 are young people with disabilities aged 18 to 35.

The goal of the NGO “Bogdan” is to help people with disabilities have equal rights with other citizens of Ukraine, opportunities to participate in all spheres of public life, and to satisfy their social, cultural, creative, psychological, material and other interests. And in this, in particular, they will be helped by participation in the project “Crisis in Ukraine: Response and recovery taking into account the needs of people with disabilities under the leadership and coordination of organizations of people with disabilities (2nd phase) (hereinafter – the Project) implemented by the National Assembly people with disabilities of Ukraine.

“In the conditions of martial law, the issue of supporting and meeting the most vital needs of people, especially people with disabilities or families raising children with disabilities, is particularly acute,” says project manager Halyna Tokar. – Given the difficult state of the economy, medicine, education, etc. socially vulnerable sections of the population are left alone with their problems. Therefore, it is extremely necessary to support and help (humanitarian, psychological, legal, material, etc.) socially vulnerable segments of the population, including people with disabilities, families raising children with disabilities, elderly people who are unable to satisfy elementary needs of food, medicine, movement, communication, social and psychological safety, receiving social, legal and psychological services in local authorities, etc. Within the framework of the Project, the NGO “Bohdan” is already implementing its own mini-project “Humanitarian response to the needs of socially vulnerable populations in the Kamian Territorial Community during the war. In the framework of which a survey of the needs of socially vulnerable families (including children with disabilities) is conducted, which allows collecting objective information and analyzing the state of compliance with their rights.

As part of the project, a round table “Protection of the rights of socially vulnerable population groups: today’s realities” was organized and held in February. The event was attended by representatives of the authorities of Chernivtsi region, Kamian TG, as well as the representative of the Government Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Valentina Dobridina.

It is also planned to issue food rations for families from socially vulnerable strata of the population and hold an educational and practical seminar with elements of the “Safe community space: interaction for the future” training.
