Презентуємо новий буклет “Фізична терапія після заміни суглобів”, створений в рамках інформаційно-просвітницької кампанії «Право на реабілітацію», яку проводить НАІУ.
Заміна (артропластика або ендопротезування) суглобів – це метод хірургічного (оперативного) лікування патології суглобів, при якому відбувається заміна суглоба або його частини імплантом (ортопедичним протезом). Хірургічна заміна суглоба є одним із найбільших і найважливіших успіхів сучасної медицини. У світі щорічно виконується близько 2 500 000 операцій зі заміни різних суглобів. На сьогодні можливе ендопротезування більшості суглобів людського організму, починаючи від кульшового, колінного, плечового, ліктьового, гомілковостопного, і закінчуючи дрібними суглобами стоп і пальців рук. Проте, кульшовий та колінний суглоби – це суглоби, які найчастіше піддаються заміні. У США щороку замінюють понад 300 000 кульшових суглобів і 700 000 колінних суглобів.
