If your residential building is damaged or destroyed as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation, you have the right to apply for compensation.
The Ombudsman of Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets on Facebook page The Ombudsman's Office posted on Facebook about the work of the emergency response centers in Kyiv, naming their addresses and the amount of payments available.
According to him, at the headquarters you can record the event, submit an application, get an initial consultation, learn about further steps of assistance and apply for temporary housing.

Financial assistance:
- 10 000 UAH - one-time basic assistance for owners/co-owners of damaged housing.
- 40 000 UAH - a one-time allowance for renting housing if it is found to be unsuitable and there is no other housing available in Kyiv.
- UAH 20,000 per month (up to 12 months) - in case of unsuitability of the dwelling for living.
- 500-20,000 UAH - individual assistance for people in difficult life circumstances, including IDPs.
Required documents: passport, identification code, ownership document, bank account details.
Applications are accepted by emergency response headquarters or district departments of social and veteran policy.
