Over the course of three days, the participants deepened their knowledge of the key aspects of grant management that are extremely important for public organizations of people with disabilities. During the seminar, we discussed:
- Where and how to look for grant competitions
- The main requirements of grantors and how to avoid mistakes when writing applications
- Effective fundraising strategies and mechanisms for raising funds, including social entrepreneurship and crowdfunding
- How to properly prepare a project application and budget to increase your chances of success
- Monitoring, project evaluation and risk management strategies
This event not only strengthened the capacity of participants to work with grant programs, but also created a platform for sharing experiences, establishing new connections and partnerships between organizations working with people with disabilities.
The event was organized by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine. The event was held within the framework of the project «Crisis in Ukraine: Response and Recovery Taking into Account the Needs of People with Disabilities (Phase 2), implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in cooperation with the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM).
We thank all the participants for their active participation, useful discussions and desire to improve the work of organizations that support people with disabilities. Together, we are making an important contribution to creating an inclusive society where everyone has equal opportunities for development and access to necessary services.

Effective fundraising strategies and mechanisms for securing funding, including social entrepreneurship and crowdfunding
How to properly structure a project proposal and budget to improve chances of success
Monitoring, evaluation of projects, and risk management strategies
This event not only strengthened participants’ capacity to work with grant programs but also provided a platform for exchanging experiences, building new connections, and forming partnerships between organizations working with people with disabilities.
The seminar was organized by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine.
