Free palliative care: how and where to apply?

The National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPWD) presents an information booklet containing a comprehensive overview of the possibilities of receiving free palliative care in Ukraine. The publication includes legislative provisions, categories of patients in need of assistance, application procedures, addresses of service providers, as well as the main aspects of organizing care at home, in a hospital or with the participation of mobile multidisciplinary teams.

This material was prepared as part of a project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO), the Christian Blind Mission (CBM) and the European Disability Forum (EDF).

The booklet will be useful for patients and their families, doctors, social workers, and anyone who wants to learn about the rights to receive quality medical and social care in Ukraine.
