Під такою назвою 2 травня розпочав роботу в Берліні дводенний семінар, який присвячений питанням захисту і врахування потреб осіб з інвалідністю та осіб похилого віку постраждалих від війни в Україні.

Спільна ініціатива Незалежного експерта ООН з питань реалізації всіх прав людини особами старшого віку і Спеціального доповідача ООН з прав осіб з інвалідністю. Організатор:  Інститут прав людини (Німеччина).

Основна мета цього семінару полягає в тому, щоб надати простір для роздумів про адекватність як законодавства, так і практики щодо:  захисту людей похилого віку, людей з інвалідністю  під час збройного конфлікту в Україні та ставлення, розміщення, приймаються цих груп в сусідніх  країнах.

Від Національної Асамблеї людей з інвалідністю на семінарі виступила Лариса Байда.

War: topical issues of realization of the rights of people with disabilities and the elderly, due to a complex of different factors

Under this name, a two-day seminar on protecting and addressing the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly affected by the war in Ukraine began on May 2 in Berlin.

A joint initiative of the United Nations Independent Expert on the Realization of All Human Rights of Older Persons and the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Organizer: Institute of Human Rights (Germany).

The main purpose of this seminar is to provide space for reflection on the adequacy of both legislation and practice on: the protection of the elderly, people with disabilities during the armed conflict in Ukraine and the attitude, and placement of these groups in neighbouring countries.
