Knowledge that saves lives!

On November 21, 2023, a fire safety training was held for representatives of NGOs of persons with disabilities - members and partners of the NAPD.

As you know, awareness of the rules of behavior in critical situations can save lives, so familiarity with fire safety rules is one of the most important elements of the overall safety culture.

The training was held in the format of an online and offline seminar. The participants formed a clear algorithm of actions in case of fire hazard and emergency situations. They practiced staff actions in case of a fire. They acquired firefighting skills using a variety of special equipment.

The training was conducted by the RACIO Occupational Safety and Health Center.

The event is part of the project «Multisectoral Inclusive Humanitarian Assistance for IDPs, Returnees, Veterans and Host Communities in Ukraine», which is implemented with the financial support of the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO), CBM and the European Forum of People with Disabilities.
