Dear colleagues,
As part of the project “Together We Are Powerful: Capacity Building of NGOs of People with Disabilities”, a training “Accessibility Without Barriers: How to Assess and Transform Spaces” will take place on 4–5 September 2025.
Venue: Premier Hotel Rus (4 Hospitalna Street, Kyiv)
Participants: leaders and activists of public organizations of people with disabilities - members of the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine from Dnipropetrovs'k, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions.
The training will consist of several stages: the first session with homework assigned – implementation of homework – the second session where participants will present their completed assignment.
Please note that by completing this form, you confirm your participation in BOTH events (the second part of the training will take place in mid-November 2025).
Participants will learn about accessibility requirements and gain skills to assess buildings and spaces for accessibility for persons with disabilities and other groups with limited mobility. This will also enable meaningful participation in local Accessibility Committees or Barrier-Free Councils.

The number of participants is limited. Filling out the application form does not guarantee participation in the event. The organizers will select the participants, and if you are selected for participation, the project manager will contact you additionally.
