On September 27-28, 2024, a training on «Emotional Resilience and Balance in Professional Life» was held in Chernivtsi region for representatives of public organizations of people with disabilities. The event was held as part of the project «Crisis in Ukraine: Response and Recovery Taking into Account the Needs of People with Disabilities (Phase 2), implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in cooperation with the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM).
The participants of the training had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of maintaining emotional stability and avoiding professional burnout. The program consisted of interactive lectures, exercises to develop resilience and maintain a work-life balance.
Highlights of the training:
- Discussions about the symptoms and causes of emotional burnout.
- Exercises to overcome stress, such as the Balance Wheel and meditation techniques.
- Learning strategies to prevent burnout and develop self-support.
Participants gave positive feedback about the event, noting that the discussion on the importance of setting work-life boundaries was the most memorable. They also expressed appreciation for the opportunity to share their own strategies for avoiding burnout and supporting each other.

The second day of the training was held in the format of informal communication in nature, where participants could discuss their experiences and plans for the future.
