For the Decade of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities under the slogan "Inclusive Solutions - Restoring Ukraine for All"
These days in Kyiv, at the Dnipro Hotel, a training program "Integration of Protection" will be held for the staff of the ACCESS Consortium. The training program was developed by the Right to Protection CF in cooperation with the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPWD) within the framework of the ACCESS to Multipurpose Humanitarian Aid project for communities where projects are being implemented to deepen knowledge on protection integration.
The program explains the key international standards and principles of humanitarian response, the importance of inclusion of people with disabilities, and the implementation of accountability policies.
This project is part of a larger project of the ACCESS Consortium, which includes the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine as a partner.

The project's activities are aimed at providing multidisciplinary humanitarian assistance to the population affected by the hostilities in Ukraine.
Representatives of the NAIU will join the training. They will also hold the second part of the training for their colleagues, where they will talk about the importance of inclusion of people with disabilities, the nature of disability, the ethics of communication, the system of providing social support to people with disabilities, and the issue of physical (architectural) accessibility.
As a result, the knowledge gained will help to put in place an approach to monitoring and integrating protection, and develop a matrix of protection risks and mitigation measures.
Each participant will receive a certificate of successful completion of the training, as well as new acquaintances and important knowledge for the development of organizations.
