More than 30 activists from different parts of Ukraine gathered in the picturesque town of Yavoriv in the Lviv region to learn, develop, and change the country together.
The event is being implemented within the framework of the project "Together - Powerful: Developing the Potential of NGOs of People with Disabilities", which the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine is implementing in partnership with the humanitarian organization "Person in Need" with the financial support of the Czech people.
All this is part of the training camp "Fundraising and Sustainable Development of NGOs for People with Disabilities", which runs from June 3 to 7, 2025.
Over the course of five days, camp participants deepen their knowledge of fundraising, strategic planning, donor search, grant application preparation, crisis communications, and working with social media.
The camp takes place at the "Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center " - a space where participants have the opportunity not only to study, but also to restore resources thanks to a program of rehabilitation activities.
Yuriy Vasylchenko, project coordinator:
"Our goal is not just to transfer knowledge, but to give tools for action. After this camp, participants will return to their communities with ready-made solutions and ideas."
Olga, participant from Mykolaiv:
"I am impressed by the organization and depth of the material. This is the first time fundraising has been explained in such a structured way — from basics to practice. Very inspiring!"
Hlib, participant from Kharkiv:
"Exchanging experiences with other activists is especially valuable. We not only learn, but also create common ideas that we can implement together."
Ahead are several more days of intensive work, new knowledge, and strengthening of partnerships. Follow the news on on the NAPD website and on our social networks.

Safety should be accessible to everyone. During a full-scale war in Ukraine, with constant air raids, a shelter is not just a technical room, but a space that saves lives. And if some community members are physically unable to get there or navigate inside, it means unequal access to safety. On February 26, in Opishne, Poltava region, [...]
