On January 16, 2021, an online webinar «The Miraculous Power of Art Therapy: Concepts, Directions, Usefulness» was held, which was attended by mothers of children with disabilities, women, teachers, specialists working with this category, and representatives of NGOs from the Luhansk region.
The webinar examined the phenomenon of the popularity of art therapy as a modern direction of support and development of the individual in crisis, healing through creativity and art. The concept of art therapy, the variety of directions and types, how you can express yourself in the language of artistic images, what impressive results can be achieved by immersing yourself in the world of colors, shapes, sounds, and movements were discussed.
The webinar was filled with interesting art practices. Participants were able to learn about the necessary things in an accessible form, especially since all the information provided is really relevant and helpful for all mothers. Each child is unique, pure and direct.
Each of us has a unique resource, the main thing is to find it!
The webinar was hosted by Natalia Dida, founder and director of the Vulyk School of Useful Leisure art initiative, which has been successfully operating in Poltava since 2016, providing art therapy support to families affected by the hostilities in eastern Ukraine.
