The NGO "All-Ukrainian Public Association "National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine" in cooperation with NGOs of persons with disabilities - partners of the project "Strengthening the Leadership of Women with Disabilities in Gender Responsive Humanitarian Response in Ukraine" carries out relevant tasks as part of its implementation.
One of the project's objectives is to increase access to necessary services for women, girls with disabilities, women raising children with disabilities, elderly women and those affected by the conflict, including internally displaced persons in Ukraine, to meet their immediate needs related to the war in Ukraine, including accommodation, food, counseling, psychological and humanitarian assistance through temporary accommodation centers, as well as information services on institutions and organizations to which they can turn for help.
To implement this task, a Map of Services for Women/Girls with Disabilities, Women with Children with Disabilities, Elderly Women, including Internally Displaced Persons (hereinafter referred to as the Map) was created, where information on institutions/agencies/organizations, regardless of ownership, that meet urgent needs and provide crisis services (accommodation, food, humanitarian assistance, etc.) within the project in the target regions can be found. The following regions are involved in the project in this context: Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Zakarpattia regions (these are the regions where partner organizations provide services through temporary accommodation centers).
Purpose of the Card - Raise awareness of women with disabilities, women raising children with disabilities, elderly women, men with disabilities (internally displaced persons) about the possibilities of exercising their rights, in particular through state institutions and private institutions, including the mentioned Centers.
