Today, the second meeting of the intersectoral working group working on the development of National Action Plan for the organization of assistance to victims of explosive ordnance.
Participants actively discussed the first working version of the Action Plan, focusing on identifying specific measures to provide the necessary assistance to victims. The work was filled with constructive ideas, productive discussions and a desire to achieve a common goal - to support victims and create a safe environment for all.
It is important to note that the working group includes a representative of National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine (NAPD), which ensures that the needs of people with disabilities are taken into account in the Action Plan.
The National Action Plan is being developed within the framework of the UNDP project «Mine action in Ukraine» with financial support from the governments of Sweden and France.
The event was held within the framework of the project "Crisis in Ukraine: Response and Recovery Taking into Account the Needs of People with Disabilities (Phase 2), implemented by the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine in cooperation with the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM).
