Information about the next business trainings “Algorithms of Success” within the framework of the TEAM project

The All-Ukrainian Public Association «National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine« (hereinafter referred to as the »NAPDU«) continues to implement in Ukraine International project «Training, economic empowerment, assistive technologies and medical/physical rehabilitation services», with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), plans to conduct five three-day business trainings on small business development and promotion by June 30, 2019.

Project geography: Vinnytsia, Lviv, Dnipro, Donetsk, Kharkiv regions and the city of Kyiv.
The purpose of business training - to promote the development and promotion of small businesses of internally displaced persons with disabilities affected by the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
Each 3-day event will include lectures and workshops on the topics:
- legislative regulation of entrepreneurship;
- current legislation on taxation of business activities in Ukraine;
- modern technologies of SEO-promotion, Internet marketing;
- fundraising basics, basic rules/requirements for writing business projects;
- exchange of experience in running their own business among the participants of the training: development and implementation of business ideas, problems encountered in the course of entrepreneurial activity and ways to solve them;
- a master class (by area of activity).
Events are planned in the regions*:
- м. Vinnytsia - 18-20 February 2019 - for individual entrepreneurs working in the field of hairdressing and manicure services, etc.;
- м. Kyiv - 14-16 May 2019 - for sole proprietors working in the field of IT, web design, online stores, etc..
* The dates and topics of the seminars may be further specified after the finalization of the list of participants.
The following are invited to participate in the events persons over 18 years of age who belong to the project target group, live in the project implementation regions, are registered as an individual entrepreneur (IE) or plan to start an IE and want to acquire the necessary skills to develop and promote their own business in the current environment, exchange experience with fellow entrepreneurs, namely
- registered individual entrepreneurs from among internally displaced persons with disabilities and their family members (mother/father of a child with a disability, guardian of a person with a disability);
- registered sole proprietors from among persons with disabilities living in the settlements where the ATO was carried out, and members of their families (mother/father of a child with a disability, guardian of a person with a disability);
- individuals from the project target group who plan to start a sole proprietorship;
- registered sole proprietors - winners of the Mini-Grant Competition held as part of the TAM project in 2016-2017.
Recruitment/registration of business training participants is carried out by filling out Google questionnaires for the following via link. The application form is to be filled in Ukrainian. The person who has filled in the application form agrees to the terms of participation in the event and agrees to the processing of personal data.
The deadline for submitting the application form is 15 days before the start of the training.
Participants will be selected through a call for applications. Participants will receive confirmation by e-mail or phone no later than 10 days before the start of the training.
The total number of participants in the business training was 20.
One participant can attend only one training.
The organizers provide participants with meals, reimbursement of costs travel tickets for railway transport (compartment, reserved seat, Intercity - 2nd class car), bus intercity transportation (subject to the availability of original travel documents and documents certifying the carrier's company, in accordance with the norms established by law and the requirements of the NGO NAIA (to be provided additionally), accommodation (if necessary) for out-of-town participants. For persons using a wheelchair, a room in a hotel that is adapted for persons with disabilities.
